Here is a copy of the Sewage Code which our petition got written into law. The definition of ODOUR NUISANCE is particularly important i.e. it first of all suggests that there are circumstances where a 'sniff test' from a Council Official is not the only way of defining a smell. Secondly, 'Nuisance' is not simply determined by the strength of the smell (which Council Officials have always insisted is the test).
